ANGELES ALMUNA

An icon of the Miami fashion scene, Angeles was a stylist, photographer and fashionista when getting diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer days before her 45th birthday. She went ahead and had her party anyway.

Angeles documents her cancer journey on Instagram to spread awareness. With the same goal, she organizes Miami’s breast cancer awareness month every year, with the Fashion Fights Cancer Gala as its highlight.

Our shoot was a true fashion party with Angeles carefully choosing her wardrobe together with her friend stylist Danny Santiago at whose home we shot. Danny provided the nude tulle dress and white ruffled scarf in the photo above, all other pieces came from Angeles’ closet.
