KAREN MONTEAGUDO

Karen grew up wanting to surf but no women surfed in Miami back then and no guys wanted to teach her. She finally learned at the age of 34 - in Costa Rica. During the summer of 2020, Karen started a community for women surfers so that they can surf together and don’t need to be intimidated on the waves like she was. She is still amazed by how many women joined and still want to join - there is a waitlist to get on the WhatsApp group.
